Our tapes are small tools to support a nasal-breathing habit — not treatments for any condition. This guide covers how to use each one sensibly, with the safety notes up front. Read the safety section before you start.
Shop tapesBefore anything else, make sure your nose is clear. If it is blocked — a cold, allergies, congestion — skip mouth tape entirely tonight. You need that airway open.
Try a strip for a short stretch while you are awake and relaxed before you ever rely on it overnight. Get comfortable with how it feels and how easily it releases.
Place the mouth-tape strip lightly over closed lips before sleep. It is a gentle nudge to keep your mouth closed so breathing defaults to the nose — not a seal. It should peel off easily.
For nose tape, place the strip across the bridge of your nose so it gently lifts the sides of your nostrils. This makes nose breathing feel a little easier, and works during exercise as well as sleep.
Peel the strip off gently in the morning. Use each strip once, and give your skin a break between uses. Stop if you notice any irritation.
This is the most important part, so read it before you try anything.
These tapes support a breathing habit; they are not a treatment. We make no claim that they treat snoring, sleep apnoea, or any condition.
If you snore heavily, wake gasping or choking, feel exhausted despite a full night's sleep, or suspect a breathing disorder of any kind, do not reach for tape — see a doctor. Those signals deserve a proper assessment, and no strip is a substitute for one. If you have nasal blockages, recent facial surgery, or a heart or lung condition, check with a health professional before building a taping habit.
Each strip is single-use — apply a fresh one each night rather than reusing yesterday's. Store the pack somewhere cool and dry so the adhesive stays gentle and reliable, and keep a spare pack on hand so you are never tempted to reuse a strip that has lost its hold.
Mouth tape gently encourages your lips to stay closed so breathing defaults to the nose; nose tape lifts the nostrils to make nasal breathing easier. They support the same habit from opposite ends.
Never use mouth tape when nasal breathing is difficult — you need that airway open, so skip it on those nights. A nasal strip may help a mildly congested nose, but do not force it.
Our tapes use a gentle, skin-safe adhesive designed for a single night of wear. Stop if you notice any skin irritation and give your skin a break between uses.
No. They support a nasal-breathing habit and are not treatments. If you snore heavily, wake gasping, or suspect a breathing disorder, see a doctor rather than relying on tape.
